Governor Software Nominated in Agile Category within GT RegTech Index

Grant Thornton Awards

Governor Software are pleased to be nominated in the Agile category within the GT RegTech index, and are looking forward to attending the RegTech Awards event at Grant Thornton, in Finsbury Square this evening, 2 October 2019.

Grant Thornton have developed the RegTech awards in partnership with The Disruption House.  Governor Software are particularly pleased to be nominated in 2019, the inaugural year for the RegTech Index. The RegTech Index has been developed to focus on firms currently providing a regulatory solution to the market, its purpose is to emphasis the growing RegTech ecosystem and to highlight the wide array of technologies and solutions that can be offered to firms in solving regulatory reporting pains and issues.

Governor Software nomination in this category comes in the same year that Governor launched Governor Reg: FCA, the first live version of the FCA Handbook which allows UK regulated financial institutions to map, track and report regulatory compliance.

“A key component of good governance is good oversight. However, the key challenge to good oversight for FCA authorised firms is the communication of obligations set out in the FCA Handbook, and the subsequent proof of adherence to relevant stakeholders,” commented Richard Pike, Founder and CEO, Governor Software. “Governor Reg: FCA is totally unique in that it provides compliance teams with a structured list of tasks and internal evidence documents, which may be interfaced to their internal systems. All of this is completed within a structured and auditable platform that supports compliance management becoming less fraught.”

We wish all nominees the best of luck at this evenings awards ceremony.
